HOW TO CONFIGURE YOUR CUSTOM DOMAIN NAME ON BLOGGER

As we all know, blogger now allows the use of custom domain name on their platform. Some persons do not know how to configure this custom name in order to work with their existing .blogspot.com name. Someone may ask how do i configure my custom www.yoursite.com to work with my existing blogger name www.yoursite.blogspot.com. It is so and pretty damn easy if and only if you will follow the underlisted steps below.

FOR EXISTING BLOG OWNERS'

1. Login to www.blogger.com
2. Click on SETTINGS>BASIC and you will see your existing .blogspot.com name for instance, yoursite.blogspot.com under it, click on "+set up a third party URL for your blog"

3. Type in your custom domain name www.yoursite.com in the box specified for blog domains.

4. Click SAVE

FOR NEW BLOG OWNERS'

1. Goto www.blogger.com
2. Click on NEW BLOG to create a new blog
3. Choose your BLOG TITLE, BLOG ADDRESS and a TEMPLATE
4. Click on CREATE BLOG
5. Then follow the steps in FOR EXISTING BLOG OWNERS' to configure your custom domain name on blogger.
